Dit is een lijst van professionele continentale en continentale wielerploegen in 2011 en eerder.
Er wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen professionele continentale wielerploegen en continentale wielerploegen. De meeste continentale ploegen zijn kleiner en minder professioneel, terwijl professionele continentale ploegen zich zowel qua renners als qua budget vaak met de ploegen uit de UCI World Tour kunnen meten. Een ander verschil is dat professionele continentale in tegenstelling tot reguliere continentale ploegen in aanmerking komen voor uitnodigingen om deel te nemen aan World Tour-wedstrijden.
