Wikisage is op 1 na de grootste internet-encyclopedie in het Nederlands. Iedereen kan de hier verzamelde kennis gratis gebruiken, zonder storende advertenties. De Koninklijke Bibliotheek van Nederland heeft Wikisage in 2018 aangemerkt als digitaal erfgoed.

Deze lijst met Arabische exoniemen bevat namen die significant verschillen van de namen van dezelfde plaatsen in andere talen, evenals namen van Arabische oorsprong in landen (vooral Spanje) waar het Arabisch niet langer wordt gesproken. Sommige van deze exoniemen zijn niet langer in gebruik.

Niet genoemde plaatsen worden over het algemeen in het Arabisch aangeduid met hun respectieve namen in hun moedertaal, aangepast aan de Arabische fonologie indien nodig.
