Wikisage is op 1 na de grootste internet-encyclopedie in het Nederlands. Iedereen kan de hier verzamelde kennis gratis gebruiken, zonder storende advertenties. De Koninklijke Bibliotheek van Nederland heeft Wikisage in 2018 aangemerkt als digitaal erfgoed.

CitizenGO is een ultraconservatieve[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] belangenbehartigingsgroep die in 2013 is opgericht in Madrid, Spanje, door de ultrakatholieke en extreemrechtse [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] organisatie HazteOir.[12]

Het promoot petities in 50 landen, voornamelijk ter verdediging van christelijke zaken en tegenstanders van het homohuwelijk, abortus en euthanasie.[13] [14][15] [16] [13] [17] [18] [19]

Geschiedenis

CitizenGO werd opgericht in september 2013 in Madrid, Spanje, door HazteOir (wiens oprichter en president ook Ignacio Arsuaga is). Het doel van de oprichting was om de reikwijdte uit te breiden naar landen buiten het Spaanstalige gebied en vooruitgang te boeken in het gebruik van online petities als een vorm van internetactivisme om de participatie van het publiek in het democratische proces te vergroten. In een oproep aan potentiële donateurs verklaarde oprichter en president Ignacio Arsuaga: "CitizenGO zal een sociaal voordeel opleveren waarvan we geloven dat het de menselijke geschiedenis zal beïnvloeden. Voorstanders van abortus, de homolobby, radicale secularisten en pleitbezorgers van het relativisme zullen zich achter de insluitingsmuur van CitizenGO bevinden." [20] [21] [22] [23] [24]

IIn 2013 heeft CitizenGO een verklaring ondertekend om de Russische wet te ondersteunen die tot doel had kinderen te beschermen tegen blootstelling aan homoseksualiteit.[25] [26]
