Terence Hill, pseudoniem van Mario Girotti, (Venetië, 29 maart 1939) is een Italiaans filmacteur. Hij maakte vooral furore in het genre spaghettiwestern, waarin hij vaak een duo vormde met landgenoot en collega-acteur Bud Spencer.
Hill maakte onder zijn eigen naam al op zijn twaalfde zijn acteerdebuut, in de film Vacanze col gangster (1951). Hij speelde in een groot aantal films, en had een bijrol in Il Gattopardo (1963) van regisseur Luchino Visconti. In 1964 vertrok Hill naar Duitsland, waar hij onder meer acteerde in westerns. De samenwerking met Spencer startte in 1967, met de film Dio perdone... Io no! De samenwerking zou tot 1994 duren. Hill speelde in de films de slimme charmeur, waar Spencer de rol van ietwat zwaarlijvige dommekracht voor zijn rekening nam. Zijn pseudoniem koos hij in 1967 uit een lijst van twintig mogelijkheden die zijn producenten hem voorlegden. Hij kreeg 24 uur om te kiezen.
Hill speelde in de jaren zeventig en tachtig enkele keren mee in Hollywood-producties. Op 30 januari 1990 kwam zijn jongste zoon Ross bij een auto-ongeluk om het leven. Na het overlijden van deze geadopteerde zoon raakte hij in een depressie, maar later keerde hij weer terug op het witte doek. Van 2000 ca. 2017 vervulde Hill de hoofd- en titelrol in de Italiaanse televisieserie Don Matteo en deed hij dat in enkele films, miniseries, zoals Doc West en een televisieserie.
In 2018 kwam de film My name is Thomas uit, waar Hill ook de regie deed.[1] Hij speelt een motorrijder die op een Harley Davidson door een deel van Spanje rijdt en rust probeert te vinden tot hij een vrouw helpt die wordt lastiggevallen door twee mannen. De film is in Italië opgenomen, maar ook in het Duits en Engels uitgegeven.
