Baznani begon met fotografie door toeval, hij kreeg een Kodak Ektra compact 250 camera voor zijn verjaardag toen hij een tiener was. Baznani heeft alles zelf geleerd en heeft nooit fotografiecursussen gevolgd. Hij heeft verschillende korte films en documentaires gemaakt.
