DJ LAVA's stijl varieert van [[tech-house]], [[Electro (muziekstijl)|electro]], [[funk]] en [[acid house|acid]] muziek. Hij draait op parties als Hutspot ([[Paradiso (Amsterdam)|Paradiso]]), [[Artlaunch]] ([[Melkweg (Amsterdam)|Melkweg]]), [[LFTFLD]] parties ([[Sugar Factory]]) en is een van de oprichters van [[UNK]] ([[Club 8]]), waar hij resident [[diskjockey|dj]] was tot in het midden van 2005. Ook is hij Co-organisator en resident dj van de maandelijkse [[Black Box (Studio 80)|Black Box]] in [[Studio 80]] en oprichter van [[Flush It!]].
