Philippe Petit is een experimenteel musicus en DJ uit Marseille, Frankrijk. Petit runt tevens de onafhankelijke platenlabels BiP_HOp en het eerder opgerichte label Pandemonium RDz.

Als muzikant bespeelt hij electrisch psalterion, cimbalom (Eigenlijk een hakkebord) en electrische drumgitaren. Als muziekjournalist werkt hij voor diverse tijdschriften en radiozenders.

Als muzikant werkte hij onder meer samen met Lydia Lunch, Faust, Foetus, Edward Ka-Spel, Kumo, Scott McCloud (van Girls Against Boys), Cosey Fanni Tutti, My Brightest Diamond, Sybarite, Pantaleimon, Graham Lewis (Wire), Barry Adamson, Scanner, Mira Calix, Kammerflimmer Kollektief, Guapo, Leafcutter John, Simon Fisher Turner, James Johnston (Gallon Drunk/Bad Seeds/Faust), [[Jarboe] en anderen.
