DJ LAVA is well-known in the Amsterdam dance scene. He played at parties like Hutspot (Paradiso Paradiso), Artlaunch (Melkweg), LFTFLD parties (Sugar Factory) and is one of the founders of UNK (Club 8) where he was resident until mid 2005. Outside Amsterdam he played at: TOON Festival at Stalker - Haarlem Vênus Automática at Ampgalaxy - São Paulo CIO 80's at D-Edge - São Paulo GRIND at A Lôca - São Paulo Eyes Need Sugar at La Scène - Paris
Lava is also music producer and in the beginning of 2005 he released his first record “Strobolight”, together with Eldit. The record is distributed by Lowlands Records. He is co-organizer and resident DJ of the monthly Black Box at Studio 80 and founder of Flush It!.
