Cristina Boshoff, geboren als Katarina Cristina Boshoff, (Stellenbosch, Zuid Afrika, 8 oktober 1980) is een zangeres van Folk, Pop en Dance nummers, met Nederlandse roots. Ze heeft een conservatoriumopleiding zang en lichte muziek gevolgd, waarvoor ze cum laude is geslaagd.[1]

Cristina Boshoff is geboren als dochter van een Zuid Afrikaanse vader en Nederlandse moeder en is opgegroeid in Nederland. Van 1998 tot en met 2012 heeft zij in Spanje gewoond. Sinds 2012 woont Boshoff in Kaapstad, in haar geboorteland Zuid Afrika. Boshoff begon met piano spelen toen ze twaalf was en tekende haar eerste platencontract in 1998. Sinds 2012 staat ze onder contract bij Black Tulip Productions.[1] [2]

Muziek

In 1999 werd haar debuutsingel You and I uitgebracht.[3]. Met deze single werd de zesde positie in de Zuid Afrikaanse Nationale Top 40 bereikt. De opvolger Are we in love bleef maar twee weken in de hitlijst. [4]. In 2000 bracht Boshoff haar eerste album uit, This is me. Dit album was geen groot succes. In 2014 kwam haar tweede album uit, Fire & Ice. Dit was een samenwerking met DJ/Componist Steffi Diliberto.
